Nechama Dina Laber (@nechamalaber), a passionate educator, is the founder and global director of Jewish Girls Unite and The GROW Connection Network, her virtual communities for girls and women. Her journey to carry on her father’s legacy led her to write a book called Finding Song in Sorrow and become a certified life and trauma coach in 2019. She is the author of multiple books and educational resources.
Nechama and her husband, Rabbi Avraham Laber, are the proud parents of 11 children. They are the co-directors of JGR: Jewish Girls Retreat and Chabad of Southern Rensselaer at their Jewish Greenbush Retreat Campus in Upstate NY, where they continue the legacy of their daughter Raizel through Raizel’s Kitchen. Nechama Laber devoted her life's mission to teaching and inspiring others through Torah and creativity. Now her work is guided by her daughter's gentle humility and devotion to others.
Nechama Laber shares how the untimely death of her father brought her to reach out to create a place of love for others and helped her raise her child with special needs.
