Is it just me, or does life feel like a marathon? And the ribbon is nowhere in sight...

Take a moment to think about how many things had to go right for nothing to be wrong with our baby!

The naysayers say not to worry, but the media apparently missed that memo. You can hardly turn on your radio or TV without hearing another doomsday scenario. And people are scared, and perhaps rightfully so.

Shouldn't G‑d be held accountable for all the suffering that He is aware of, and certainly is in the position to ameliorate? G‑d should be required to answer for His "missteps"—at least as they impact our lives!

I must imagine, however, that more than anyone else, this was most frightening for the pilot. The knowledge that not only was his own life in his hands, but the lives of over 150 others...

I've just signed on to Facebook. Immediately, I clicked on the "my friends" tab and sure enough the computer informed that that "You have no friends." I was devastated

We were doing our thing, what we were suppposed to, and no one felt like we were out of place.

As fate should have it our stereo system broke on us this past week. Unfortunately, this time Anton, our trusty mechanic, told us that it wasn't one of those quick fix situations...

Is it a message from G‑d, calling us all to take heed, or are the tragedies that strike our lives just random events?

So this is the famous Torah portion where we read about the beginning of the end of the Egyptians. Why all the violence?
