Thank you for this lucid explanation of the Ki Tze parashat haShavua.
I am a Russian-born Jew who emmigrated to Israel in 1973. After 7 years in Israel my husband and I went to USA for his advanced job training. We meant to return to Israel, but after 32 years we are still here. By the way, I am writing in English because I haven't yet figured out how to write in Russian alphabet on this site. Only recently I have started reading the Torah in a serious way and found out that even though I speak English very well it is in Russian that I get the most out of my studies. Chabad.org is one of my favourite sites, but I did not realize until a week ago that it is available in Russian. Now I am "addicted" to learning from videos in Russian.
Thank you, Rabbi Braitman, for your flawless explanation of the most important points. You are a great speaker and I feel priviledged to study with you. Thanks a lot goes also to the DJC for sponsoring such an important endeavor! Reply
